I had a wonderful time at Dun Cow. The staff felt genuinely friendly and made me feel at home right away. Breakfast? Super tasty and fresh, with a nice variety to choose from. The atmosphere had this warm and cozy vibe that I really loved. My bed in the Standard Double Room was comfy, and I had a great night's sleep. there were a couple of issues. The shower water pressure could have been better. it felt a bit weak at times. asking a few times for extra towels became slightly annoying. I appreciated the cleanliness and maintenance of the place, so those minor issues didn't ruin my stay. I'd definitely recommend it!

The food was just top-notch, had a crazy good steak pie and the portion sizes were massive! Staff treated us like royalty, making sure every detail was just right, I honestly felt like a king.
Yeah, it wasn’t exactly cheap, but for the quality we got, it felt acceptable.

It was just a fine choice for a short-term stay in Sedgefield with decent value for money. The food was ok, but the dining area feels super cramped. Try to arrive early if you want a decent seat.

The breakfast staff made the start of my day pleasant, and the menu had a good variety. I appreciated the flat-screen TV and the reliable Wi-Fi connection in the room. I found a lovely bar across the street that reminded me of a proper old English pub with an excellent selection of ales.
The decor felt dated, with the bathroom needing an update. Parking was a bit tricky due to space limitations, which was frustrating at times.
